The EAACI Section on Pediatrics, jointly with the
Section of Dermatology , the Food Allergy Interest
Group and in collaboration with Europrevall, is
organizing the second edition of the Food Allergy
Training Course, to be held in Castelbrando
(Treviso), Italy from November 13-16th, 2008.
The aim of the meeting is to standardize the
approach to Food Allergy diagnosis and treatment
across Europe in the light of recent findings in the
field. The format, like the previous edition in
Denmark, will provide training on practical issues
regarding the diagnosis and treatment of food
allergy. Two sessions for oral presentations are
scheduled and participants are welcomed to submit
abstracts for oral presentation to Jonathan
Hourihane (j.hourihane@ucc.ie),
cc Antonella Muraro (muraro@pediatria.unipd.it),.
by September 15th at the latest. Preference in the
registrations will be given to delegates submitting
an oral presentation.The lecturers have been asked
to leave enough space for discussion and we hope to
achieve a friendly and stimulating atmosphere. CME
credits will be available.

The historical location
of Castelbrando will represent a unique opportunity to further
enjoy the meeting. On the last evening we will gather together at
the gala dinner, with music and dancing.
The preliminary programme and the registration form are available on
the EAACI website: www.eaaci.net. Places are limited to 100
delegates, and you are strongly advised to apply well before the
deadline of September 22th. Successful applicants will be notified
in the week beginning September 29th.
